Make your own Spirulina Waffles
Dulse seaweed healthy snack
This crispy dulse-crusted salmon is rich in umami flavor, packed with nutrients, and super easy to make!
Ingredients:
2 salmon fillets
1/2 cup dried dulse flakes
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs (or gluten-free breadcrumbs)
1 garlic clove (minced)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
· Preheat the Oven to 400°F (200°C).
· Prepare the Dulse Crust. In a small bowl, mix:
Dulse flakes
Panko breadcrumbs
Minced garlic
Lemon zest
Smoked paprika
Olive oil
Mix well until it becomes a crumbly texture.
· Season the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry.
Season lightly with salt and pepper.
· Coat the Salmon
Press the dulse-breadcrumb mixture onto the top of the salmon fillets.
Gently press to ensure it sticks well.
· Bake the Salmon
Place salmon on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is crispy and the salmon is cooked through.
· Serve & Enjoy
Squeeze fresh lemon juice on top.
Serve with steamed veggies, quinoa, or a fresh salad.

Ingredients:
For the Pasta:
12 oz (340g) spaghetti or your preferred pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
½ lb (225g) ground beef or pork (or a mix)
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional, for extra umami)
½ cup pasta water (reserved)
For the Nori Garnish:
1 sheet nori, finely shredded or crumbled
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
1 green onion, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions:
· Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
· Cook the Meat Sauce:
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant and soft.
Add the ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
Season with salt, black pepper, soy sauce, and oyster sauce.
Stir well and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
· Combine with Pasta:
Add the drained pasta to the pan and toss with the meat sauce.
Pour in some reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
· Garnish & Serve:
Transfer to plates and sprinkle shredded nori, sesame seeds, and green onions on top.
Optionally, drizzle with a little sesame oil or chili flakes for extra flavor.
